Healthcare
Theory Intelligence provides healthcare organisations, health technology companies and their investors with verified primary research for market access, buyer, clinician and patient decisions: participants whose credentials and roles have been checked, interviewed with documented consent, with a signed recommendation and a provenance appendix.
- Clinician or health system buyer Signal Brief: 6 to 8 credential-verified participants in 10 business days, USD 7,500 to 12,000
- Market access or launch Decision Study: 15 to 30 verified participants, 4 to 6 weeks, USD 25,000 to 75,000
- Credentials verified against professional registers, not self-reported
- Documented consent and presentation terms suitable for clinical participants
- Health AI vendor evaluations with no vendor relationships
The credential problem
Healthcare research has a specific failure mode: the participant who is not the clinician they claim to be. Physician panels have been found with fraudulent respondents. Expert network profiles are self-reported. Synthetic patient personas are now marketed as a substitute for talking to patients. In a sector where decisions affect care and carry regulatory weight, the question "who actually said this" is not academic.
Theory verifies every participant's credentials and role against professional registers and institutional records before an interview takes place. The provenance appendix records how. If a credential cannot be verified, the person is not interviewed.
What we do for healthcare businesses
Buyer and clinician research
A Signal Brief with six to eight verified health system buyers, department heads or clinicians on one question: will this be adopted, what would block it, who decides. A signed two-page read in ten business days.
Market access and launch
A Decision Study for a product launch, a new indication's commercial case or a market entry: fifteen to thirty verified interviews across clinicians, procurement, payers and where appropriate patients, with every claim traceable.
Health technology and AI evaluation
Health systems evaluating AI documentation, triage or imaging tools face vendor-produced evidence and little else. Theory interviews verified current users at other systems, with no vendor relationship, and signs the recommendation.
Standing intelligence
An Intelligence Retainer for a health technology company or investor: six to ten verified clinician and buyer conversations a month, a signed briefing, a cumulative evidence base.
Consent and ethics
Interviews with clinicians and patients are conducted with documented informed consent, presented by role unless the participant agrees to be named, and held under the retention terms in the engagement agreement. We do not conduct clinical research and we do not collect patient health data beyond what a participant chooses to describe.
All work is delivered under The Theory Standard. See services and prices.
Questions from healthcare clients
How do you verify clinician credentials?
Against professional registers and institutional records for the participant's stated role and jurisdiction, before the interview. The method is recorded in the provenance appendix for each participant.
Can you interview patients?
Yes, for commercial research questions, with documented informed consent and appropriate presentation. We do not conduct clinical research or collect health records.
Do you have relationships with health technology vendors?
No. Theory accepts no fees, referrals or partnerships from technology vendors, which is what makes an independent evaluation possible.
