Who we are
Theory Intelligence (also Theory Intel) operates theoryintelligence.com and theoryintel.com. Contact for any privacy matter: info@theoryintel.com.
This website
The site is static. It sets no tracking cookies and runs no advertising or analytics scripts of its own. The only stored preference is your light or dark mode choice, held in your browser's local storage and never sent to us. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts and images from Unsplash; those services receive your IP address when the assets load, under their own privacy terms. Our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, user agent, pages requested) for security, retained for no more than 30 days.
Contacting us
The contact form on this site does not transmit data to us. It opens your own email client with a message addressed to info@theoryintel.com. When you email us we hold your message and details to respond and, if you become a client, to deliver the work. We do not sell or share contact details and we do not add you to a mailing list without asking.
Research participants
If you take part in an interview for Theory Intelligence, we explain before the conversation how it will be recorded, how your identity will be presented in the deliverable (named, or by role and organisation type), how long the recording is held, and how to withdraw. We verify identity and role using public and professional records. We do not sell participant data and we do not add participants to panels.
Clients
Client materials are held in encrypted storage, accessible to the researchers on the engagement, and returned or destroyed at the end of the retention period in the engagement agreement. Interview recordings and transcripts are retained for 24 months unless a different term is agreed, after which they are deleted.
AI tools
We use AI tools for transcription, coding and drafting. We do not permit vendors of those tools to train on client or participant data, and we use configurations that contract for this. Each deliverable states which tools were used.
Your rights
You may ask what information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or object to its use, by writing to info@theoryintel.com. We respond within 30 days. If you are in the UK or EU you may also complain to your data protection authority.

We will post any changes on this page with a new date.
